1.  Pigs keep their sleeping dens and toilet areas separate.  Their sleeping and living areas are spotless.

2.  Pigs have only a few sweat glands and barely sweat at all.  They pant when its hot and will wallow in the mud to keep cool.  

3.  Pale pigs have very sensitive skin, so they cover themselves with mud to prevent sunburn and to protect themselves from insects

4.  Pigs can be taught to play video games.

5.  Scientists rank pigs as one of the most intelligent animals.  Many researchers believe they rank closely behind the apes and dolphins in intelligence.

6.  A pig’s normal life should span at least 15 years.  The oldest pig on record was Oscar which lived to the ripe old age of 21 years.

7.  Many experts consider pigs to be more trainable than dogs.

8.  Pigs are excellent swimmers.
