I was about 13 years old when a lump in my throat appeared. The doctors didn’t know what it was but after an MRI thought it to be a tumor. Soon after that I went to my high school youth group at church. The youth pastor and many of the teens in the group gathered around me after I asked them to pray specifically for this lump to shrink. I was scheduled to have a needle biopsy and possibly surgery.

After they prayed for me and youth group was over, I walked out to the parking lot.  As I approached our car where my mom was waiting, I felt my throat and immediately noticed that it was a lot smaller than just 10 minutes prior. I ran up to my mom and said, “Feel this, I mean it’s crazy!  What just happened? They prayed for me and it’s smaller!”  My mom felt it and was amazed at how much it had shrunk in that short amount of time.  I had the needle biopsy and it showed nothing.

The lump went completely away and there was no need for surgery.  I know it was the power of God that did that for me.
